So delighted to spend the night out the home and in a restaurant. smokeandsaltldn eight-course Christmas Feasting Menu was such a delight. From festive whipped butter and pigs in blanket snacks to crispy parsnip and duck and cranberry stuffing! I’ve lastly began to get within the festive spirit! 🤶

Highlights for us had been the home made pretzel rolls with a cracker-like flavour, they had been smooth on the within with a salt crust. The crispy parsnip was one other star dish – they had been cooked in a mayu chilli glaze and sat on a mattress of herby yogurt. Greek in type, Christmassy in style. 🥨

The principle course of duck was terrific. It was a beneficiant portion when served as a part of a tasty menu, with a decadent plate of medium-rare duck and a second plate with a confit leg and stuffing. 🦆

I additionally liked the Baked Alaska, meringue peaks coated creamy ice cream and went superbly with the whiskey jelly. 🍨
