
《 Granny’s Fish Pie 》
What’s your favorite dish out of your childhood? Once we have been youthful, my brother and cousins have been often called The White Home Kitchen Youngsters – affectionately named by our Grandmother, who cherished cooking and would educate us all kinds of recipes. My Granny left every of her grandchildren a handwritten recipe guide, and this Fish Pie is one in every of my favourites. 💖

The recipe is written in kilos and ounces, which is wild! Select no matter fish you fancy, we went for salmon and haddock. Place the fish in a pan with milk, bay leaves, salt, onion and peppercorns. Convey to the boil and simmer for 10 minutes. 🐟

Add 2 hard-boiled eggs quartered, contemporary single cream, chopped parsley and prawns. 🦐

Place in a pie dish and high with mash potato. Bake within the oven for 10-15 minutes till the potato is ready. Brush the potato with overwhelmed egg return to oven for an additional 15 minutes till brown. 🥧
